A Credit Report is a summary of the data a Credit Bureau has on a consumer.
Contents of a Credit Report:
- Credit score (3-digit number between 300–900)
- Addresses
- Employment history
- Payment history (credit cards, loans, mortgages, auto financing, cell phones)
- Collections
- Credit inquiries
Why a Credit Report matters:
- Higher scores usually indicate stronger creditworthiness
- Lower scores may signal risk of delinquency
