What information is required for Debt Reporting to Credit Bureaus?

Using FrontLobby's Debt Reporting product, Housing Providers can report debts from former Tenants to the Credit Bureaus by entering the rental details, Tenant info and rental payment data.

When reporting debts for former Tenants with Debt Reporting you will need the Tenants: 

  • First and last name 
  • Rental property details 
  • Date of birth 
  • Email address 
  • Lease agreement (signed) 
  • SIN or SSN are recommended but not required 

          To send a file to collections you should also include the following when available: 

          • Rental ledger (detailed, month-by-month) 
          • Rental application and tenant ID(s) 
          • Any monetary order, judgment, or tenancy board decision (mandatory in SK, NS, QC; recommended if available elsewhere) 
          • Other IDs: driver’s license, passport, healthcare card, forwarding address 
          • Any supporting context to help locate or contact the former Tenant 

          The accuracy of the data is very important so please confirm accuracy when entering data.
