What happens if my Landlord rejects my draft Lease Record?

If your Landlord initially rejects your draft Lease Record contact them to work together to get it approved.

Having your Landlord or Property Manager approve your Lease Record is the first step to building your credit through FrontLobby.

Guidelines to getting your Landlord to approve your Lease Record.

  • If your Landlord accepts the Lease Record, you may start Rent Reporting to Credit Bureaus by upgrading to Plus, turning on Rent Reporting, and providing consent on the Lease Record
  • If your Landlord rejects your Lease Record, you can try sending it again
  • Check for notes: Review any notes your Landlord may have left about the rejection (such as inaccurate lease details)
  • Make the required updates to your lease information and resend the record to your Landlord for approval
  • If you are still unsuccessful, reach out directly to your Landlord to request their support for building your credit through FrontLobby
