No, you do not need a judgment, ruling, or monetary order to report unpaid rent and utility debts.
You don’t need a judgment, ruling or monetary order to report debts from current or former Tenants if:
- The amount reported is accurate
- You have a mutually signed lease agreement
- The debt only includes unpaid rent and unpaid utilities as outlined in the lease
When a judgment, ruling or monetary order is required:
- If you wish to report damages, legal fees or penalty fees, a judgment, ruling, or monetary order is required
- If you later obtain a judgment, ruling, or monetary order, you must update the reported debt in FrontLobby to match the judgment
