I received an Introduction Email from my Landlord saying they are using FrontLobby, what should I do?
Tenants who receive an introduction email from their Housing Provider through FrontLobby have the option to review their Lease Record and help build their credit with Credit Bureaus like Equifax, TransUnion and Experian.
To review your Lease Record and start building credit:
- Click on the link within the Introduction email to sign-up for a FrontLobby account
- Complete your profile
- Open your Lease Record by clicking on your name under My Lease Records
- Review the information on your Lease Record, this will include your lease details and a monthly payment history
- If you wish to share your rental payments to Credit Bureaus which may help build your credit, navigate to the Actions section and Turn on the Toggle that states "Yes, please add my rent history to my Credit Reports"
Key Points about Rent Reporting:
- Reporting on-time rent payments to the Credit Bureaus may help improve your credit
- If you do not wish to opt-in to positive Rent Reporting, leave the toggle off under Actions
- You can opt-out at any time by turning off the toggle under Actions
- If the Rent Reporting toggle is not on, you can ask your Landlord to enable this feature within your Lease Record, or you can upgrade to the Plus plan and turn it on yourself as a Tenant
*If the Rent Reporting toggle is not on, you can ask your landlord to turn this feature on within your Lease Record or you can upgrade to the Plus plan and turn it on as a Tenant.
